H.R 2306 would amend the Controlled Substances Act to allow the shipment or transport of marijuana between states unless in violation of state law. The bill would also remove marijuana from the Schedule of Controlled Substances. The bill has been referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the Judiciary Committee, where it is pending further consideration.
