As a Registered Nurse and owner of a wound-care clinic, I am inclined to support legitimate treatments for debilitating ailments. Medicinal marijuana may be a solution for many people with health problems such as cancer, glaucoma, multiple sclerosis, as well as many others. That being said, I am concerned with the problems that have arisen in states which have legalized medicinal marijuana, like California. It is important that we look at all factors involved before initiating a major shift in federal law such as this.
Should any legislation regarding medicinal marijuana come to the floor of the House for a vote, I will keep your thoughts in mind.
